Dr. Mohan Baraik
National President
As the Founder and National President of Mashal Social Welfare Society (MSWS), I, Dr. Mohan Baraik, am committed to addressing the pressing issues faced by tribal communities migrating to Delhi in search of livelihood. Established in 2005, MSWS is a non-political, non-religious, and non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting the rights and promoting the welfare of these marginalized groups. We focus on combating human trafficking and exploitation, promoting traditional tribal art and culture, advocating for access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, and empowering communities through skills enhancement and employment initiatives. Our vision is to empower tribal communities to lead self-sufficient, dignified lives through awareness campaigns, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

As the National Vice President of Mashal Social Welfare Society, I, Abhishek Rathore, play a key role in guiding national-level initiatives and strengthening the organization’s strategic direction. With professional experience that includes significant work in the USA, I bring a global perspective to community development, leadership, and organizational growth. My expertise spans operational management, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative program development. I work closely with teams and partners across regions to build capacity, foster impactful partnerships, and ensure the successful implementation of programs that uplift marginalized communities. With a strong commitment to governance, operational excellence, and social empowerment, I help drive the Society’s mission of promoting education, economic development, and overall social welfare. Through dedicated leadership and a vision for sustainable change, we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
As General Secretary of Mashal Social Welfare Society, I, Rojina Backer, oversee organizational operations, ensuring seamless execution and strategic alignment. My expertise includes administrative management, stakeholder engagement, and community development. I foster collaborative partnerships and capacity-building initiatives to deliver impactful programs for marginalized communities. With a focus on operational efficiency, governance, and community empowerment, I drive strategic growth and social change. As the Secretary of Mashal Social Welfare Society, I, Nitish Kumar Verma, support and assist in all organizational operations, and when the General Secretary is unavailable, I responsibly carry out their duties on their behalf. I ensure smooth administrative coordination, effective communication, and proper execution of ongoing initiatives while upholding the organization’s standards and mission. My work focuses on operational support, stakeholder engagement, and community-driven development to strengthen impactful programs for marginalized communities.

With a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), I bring valuable experience in community development, grassroots engagement, and program implementation. My focus areas include education, healthcare, livelihood promotion, and cultural preservation. By supporting initiatives that strengthen tribal identity and create sustainable opportunities, I work alongside the team to ensure transparency, accountability, and meaningful impact.
